One of Monaco's most glamorous properties, Monte Carlo Beach Club has defined summertime cool in the principality since the 1930s when the property originally opened along a secluded bay at the edge of the principality near Cap-Martin. An iconic semi-circular architectural structure painted in terra-cotta blush color tones featuring the best waterfront location of any hotel in Monaco. A gleaming lobby beaming in sunlight is a stylish space of terrazzo floors and design palette that incorporates geometric patterns, rich woodwork and nautical strips that recall the great hotel palaces Florida. Culinary offerings include new Elsa, a farm-to-table casual dining room in addition to poolside Le Deck, iconic La Vigie and infamous Sea Lounge. Outside, a series of furnished terraces leads to a decadently large Olympic-size swimming pool with direct access to the sandy beach lined in striped cabanas, loungers and jetty.
The Room
A truly brilliant design overhaul by India Mahdavi now yields entry-level rooms that are inspired by the sea with bold navy sectionals accented with a nautical stripe next to beds tucked in embroidered linens and facing windows that open to furnished balconies and sea view. A selection of first floor rooms also offers private terraces with staircase leading directly to La Vigie promenade. Junior suites come with a two-room layout and dramatic bathrooms with expressive marble walls and terrazzo floors. Top-of-the-line suites include some of the best designed in the including a two-bedroom villa overlooking the pool and sea.
